Aims & Scope

The South Carolina Association for Middle Level Education Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed publication that highlights research-based practices that improve middle schools and the learning that occurs within and outside of the classroom. Readers of this journal are generally teachers, administrators, and other educators who are interested in the issues that young adolescents ages 10-15 and educators of those individuals face. The South Carolina Association for Middle Level Education Journal is published once a year in an online format.
