Aims & Scope

Athena: Undergraduate Research and Literary Journal is a national peer review journal that offers a distinctive forum for original essays, critical and argumentative research papers, short stories, poetry, and other creative artworks produced by first generation college students and Ronald E. McNair Scholars in TRIO Programs from around the country.

We welcome proposals for Themed issues guest edited by leading scholars and personnel administrators with recognized specialization in the academic success of TRIO first-generation college students, Ronald E. McNair Scholars, and non-traditional students in higher education.
