Abstract
In this Letter, the Editors-in-Chief for the 2025-2026 academic year, Khufu Holly and Megha Badiger, describe their feelings about the inaugural issue. As they convey the theme and namesake of this issue, The Blueprint, they also express hope that readers will feel empowered to embark on future research experiences. They also hope that readers will strive to engage in excellence of scholarship through involvement with the Caroliniana Undergraduate Research Journal. As founders of CURJ, they are excited to lay the foundation for future issues and to continue watching the organization grow.
