Abstract

Greenhouses, Walk-in Freezers, storage units, and warehouses are often located in remote locations or have limited wireless signal strength. Some of these locations require strict environmental regulation to prevent damaged products and breached contracts. A system that takes frequent logs of temperature and other environmental variables from multiple locations within each location is often required. Sometimes it is not cost-effective and/or practical to install wireless access to the entire location. This project seeks to create a system that establishes its own peer-to-peer IoT network with only one device requiring a network uplink to function.
