The Pen is a literary journal sponsored by the Society of Creative Writers, a University of South Carolina Beaufort student organization. It is produced under the English, Arts, & Interdisciplinary Studies Department at USCB, and is advised by Dr. Ellen Malphrus. This publication features creative works from students across all USCB campuses. Accepted submissions include fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, music, and visual arts of all types. The Pen proudly showcases the creative works of its student and alum contributors.
