Abstract

The leading North American online Burns site, Robert Burns Lives!, started in print form in 2001, has just reached its 250th number. This tribute to its founder and editor, Frank Shaw, FSA Scot, now the longest-serving editor of any Burns-related publication, surveys the changes in Burns communications over the past fifteen years, and the distinctive way in which he has used them to build a digital publication that brings together the widest range of readers interested in Burns and the Burnsian community. The four contributors include the editors of the Burns Chronicle, the Robert Burns World Federation Newsletter, Scottish Literary Review, and Studies in Scottish Literature.
