Abstract

This thesis is an informative and critical analysis of my development of as a designer over three years in the Department of Theatre and Dance's Masters of Fine Arts program at the University of South Carolina. It explores main stage productions The Arabian Nights, Our Country's Good, The Comedy of Errors and Les Sylphides designed by Heather Abraham as an MFA Scenic design candidate and gives an in depth analysis of the process from conceptualization to final product.
