Abstract
Describes the collection of books, periodicals, artwork and memorabilia by and relating to the British wartime prime minister and Nobel laureate Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965), donated by Dr. E. Conyers O'Bryan to the University of South Carolina's Irvin Department of Rare Books & Special Collections, and explores the ways in which such collections can be used in teaching. Originally given as a talk to the Churchill Society conference, Charleston, SC, March 2011.
