Abstract

The following presentation was given on "Teaching & Learning Tuesday" hosted by the SC Technology College System.

Presentation Abstract:
Collaboration is key to supporting the growing Hispanic/Latino/Latinx population in South Carolina and the Southeast. The founding director of the South Carolina Centro Latino, the state’s first university-based center for the study and appreciation of Latino/a students, faculty, and staff, will share opportunities for institutions to co-create initiatives across campuses, locally, and statewide for student outreach and retention.
