About The Journal

Clinical Practice in Athletic Training (ClinAT) is an online, open-access outlet for the dissemination of translational, outcomes, and action research in health care. The journal publishes practice-based research resulting from patient-centered health services, leadership, and education.

We believe in the value of the clinician’s voice in bridging the gap between clinical practice and best available evidence. The vision of ClinAT is to provide an outlet for practicing healthcare providers to share their stories, successes, and challenges regarding patient services and practice advancement. We strive to offer unique manuscript styles and dissemination types, while blending the principles of evidence-based practice and emerging frameworks for clinical practice.
