This interview is part of the University of South Carolina Aiken’s Student Veteran Oral History Project. Student veterans were interviewed to learn more about their experiences in the military and their experiences in college and life after the military.
Brief Description of Interview
This interview discussed Mr. Weathersbee’s life growing up, including the influences which encouraged him to join the Marine Corps after high school. Mr. Weathersbee worked in logistics as part of a humanitarian aid unit stationed in Albany, Georgia. Currently in the Reserves, Mr. Weathersbee enrolled at USC Aiken where he is currently majoring in business and finance. He hopes to own his own businesses and work in real estate investing. He also aspires to start a nonprofit that will work with veterans to give back to the community.
