Abstract
This senior thesis project is an exploration of the dark ride not as a commercial product, but as an underappreciated art form. It examines the history and development of the dark ride, as well as recent trends and technologies in theme park design. This information is illustrated through the development of a dark ride proposal, complete with detailed concept art and a scale model.
