Abstract
This project is aimed to implement a social networking website, named 'www.scribblesome.com', and to describe and explore possible business models to generate revenue for this website. The 'Scribblesome' structure can be described as a Web 2.0 online platform where people of similar interests can share their likes and dislikes, discuss any common topic, and communicate and share information with each other. Scribblesome provides online space to all of its registered members to create their online profile, make friends, set status, send private and public messages, upload photos, set captions, add comments, etc. The platform also allows members to form online communities that other members can join. Others, not interested in joining, can subscribe to these communities. To monetize Scribblesome, a business model consisting of advertisements and online affiliations will be followed.
