Abstract
The purpose of this project was to create a solo performance piece in which I would be the only actor. I drew upon personal experiences from my own life, tied together by a recurring theme of intimacy between strangers to create the piece. It was performed as a series of vignettes involving two characters (both performed by one actor), one recurring, the second changing from scene to scene, taking place either just prior to or immediately following the two characters having sex, along with a series of pre-recorded phone voicemails interspersed between each scene.
