Context for Interview
We interviewed a student veteran who attends the University of South Carolina Aiken. Prior to our interview, we conducted a preliminary interview to get background on our narrator to then form an interview guide. Lastly, we interviewed our narrator to hear about their experience in the military.
Brief Description of Interview
This interview touched the bases of early life, military experience, and reflecting on several topics. Scotty elaborated on what it’s like to be in the Coast Guard, his responsibilities with his job now, and even where he plans to be in five years.
