Abstract

A semi-analytical solution technique is presented for solving linear partial differential equations. The technique is based on analytically solving the equations that result from discretizing the spatial coordinates of a partial differential equation. Two examples are presented to illustrate the proced and the savings in computation time relative to a method of lines numerical solution.
